Crosses Church Christmas Program - 2007

Oh how we Love Christmas and Christmas Programs!!! And our Church Christmas Program for 2007 has come and gone so quickly! We are so thankful once again for our wonderful Church Family and all the special things we enjoy with them!!

We thought our Program was just great!! Here are a few pictures from the dress rehearsal...

Ms. Christina's Nursery Class and Ms. Cindy's Beginner's Class teamed up for the cutest little "Story of the Candy Cane"....followed by the cutest little manger scene you have ever seen!!

Quinton, Kyle and Weston explained what each stripe on the Candy Cane Symbolizes.

And then the Manger Scene.....it was so precious to see all those little people performing so perfectly!!! They had Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Angels, Cows and Sheep -- Ms. Cindy came up with this idea and she made the cow and sheep ears --- she is so creative!!! And of course our little angels are truly Little Angels!!

Ms. Tina's Primary Class performed a VeggieTale Christmas Play. Tina allowed me to help her, and we had so much fun putting this together!!!

From left to right we had Ms. Tomato (Karsyn), Jimmy the Squash (Jeffrey Marley), Bob the Tomato (Ray Combs), Laura Carrot (Schana VanBrunt), Mr. Lunt the Pumpkin(Jacob Marley), Pa Grape (Cody Dobbs), Our stuffed toy (Ty Shackelford) and Madame Blueberry (Jascha VanBrunt). We also had Manwell the Red Pepper (Eli Duling) that wasn't available at the time I took this picture. Larry the Cucumber (Caden Duncan) isn't in the first picture, but you'll find him in the second one. They all looked soooo cute!!

Our Middler and Teenage Class performed a Musical Play. Their Sunday School Teachers, Jana Eaton and Donna Gabbard, Directors. The songs were wonderful ---They weren't the traditional Christmas songs, but they were filled with the true message of Christmas and were very effective!!

This is our Choir and the Sign Language crew!

Our musicians were exceptional, as always!!

We didn't really have fire around the Manager -- it was just my photography skills!!

Our little Baby Jesus was "Nathan Keller" (Cody and Angie's little guy) and he did so good!! He evidently felt right at home in his cousin Kayla's arms (Kayla Keller was Mary and Colton Cantrell was Joseph)!! "Baby Nate" even slept through part of the actual program! He is always such a good happy baby.
I wasn't where I could take pictures during the actual program, so I missed a lot of really good shots --

Bill and I are so proud of all our Church Children, Teens and Young Adults who are always willing to do excatly what we ask of them!! They really did an exceptional job with this program!!
We wish all of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED, HAPPY, & PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!! Let your #1 priority in the coming year be to Serve and Honor our Lord and Savior!!
